Review of Hang 'em High (1968) by Mark D — 07 Sep 2012
Clint Eastwood does an American western done in the same style and manner of the Spaghetti Westerns he did. Eastwood plays Jed Cooper, a former lawman, who survives a hanging for a crime he didn't commit, but he soon becomes a US Marshall, and is determined to see that justice is served.
A very atmospheric and very violent as well, it's a revenge tale which tells us that no-one wins when someone is on a personal vendetta. Oh, and it has appearences from Bruce Dern and Dennis Hopper.
