Review of Hands Over the City (1963) by Zack B — 06 Apr 2011
Francesco Rosi made some of Italy's best political realist films of the 60's, and this one, about a ruthless land developer using his political position to further his business, and avoid criminal charges, is especially wordy and penetrating.
The black and white photography is stunning.
