Any fan of boxing, or of boxing films, will enjoy this amazing, true story of a legendary fighter, and the real people behind the scenes in the boxing world. A great portrait of a great fighter, the not so distant past history of the "sweet science" world, and of America's not-so-pretty military and political involvement in Panama, as seen through the eyes of the Panamanian people.
Edgar Ramirz,(Duran), Robert De Niro (Ray Arcel), John Turturro (Frankie Carbo), Reg E. Cathey (Don King), and Usher (Sugar Ray Leonard), all turn in excellent performances in this inspirational and underrated biopic.
