Review of Hands Across the Table (1935) by Stephen M — 27 Dec 2008
I became a fan of Ralph Bellamy after this film. He's always shunted into the other guy role in the comedies that I thought that was all he was good for. Boy was I wrong. He does a great dramatic role here.
Lombard and MacMurray are great, too- not forgetting the bickering that prevails until the end. More a romance, though.
