Review of Hancock (2008) by Uzair A — 09 Sep 2012
What the movie lacks in plot it makes up for in terrific performances. Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Jason Bateman are all fantastic. I felt let down, like a lot of people, by the lack of explanation (maybe a better way of wording that would be the "horrible explanation") of how Hancock became Hancock and all that that entails.
Also, the movie begins to kind of fall apart in its second half before somewhat redeeming itself in its final, say, 15 minutes. However, overall, I thought this was still an entertaining movie and a fun ride.
"Heck, maybe.".
