Review of Hancock (2008) by Michael M — 06 Aug 2013
While Hancock starts out as a pretty down-to-Earth superhero comedy, it suddenly gets convoluted in it's own mythology and backstories that spawn a rather pointless romantic sub-plot and a ploy for sequels.
Hancock is overall a huge mess, but it has potential for a franchise when it got most of it's problems out of the way in the rushed ending, that being the problem really as a sequel is something I'm not really interested in given that Hancock himself is not that bad of a character.
