I'm not a fan of Steve Coogan so why I watched this movie is still a mystery, Elisabeth Shue perhaps:).
While there is a lot about the movie that screams low budget you can argue it reflects the narrative so it doesn't become an issue. I'm not sure it can be called an out and out parody of certain social and politics viewpoints but it certainly felt like it and as such was fun and entertaining.
Sexy Jesus actually worked:).
