Review of Hamlet (1990) by Lilianetty L — 31 Dec 2010
First of all, I thank my history of theater teacher for teaching us about Shakespeare and all his tragedies. I usually saw by myself some, but not awesome ones as TITUS and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE. HAMLET I knew I saw it before, but in THE SIMPSONS. Seriously, I knew the ending thanks to that episode.
Plot: Hamlet wants revenge when he get's a message from his dead father, and decides to kill his uncle Claudius. Will he survive? Will all in the castle survive? If you are a fan of THE SIMPSONS and for any reason you saw the episode of HAMLET, you know the ending as much as I do.
Acting: Well, Mel as Hamlet was stunning, incredible, bloody BRILLIANT! HE WAS SO AWESOME! Yes, same as Glenn as Gertrude and Claudius's Alan Bates. The one who made Ophelia justice was Helena Bonham Carter. That insanity was so pure and OUTSTANDING. Helena rocks! Some stars for this cast and the rest of it too :).
Music: Masterpiece and epicness. This score is brilliant! I may say in my language: BRUTAL E INSPIRADOR! Some stars for this amazing music.
To end this review, 4 stars of 5. Sometimes it was slow, so because of that, the last star was not given...sorry! Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA!
