There's some debate about this film. It's not as accessible as Platoon and Full Metal Jacket is a better movie. Okay sure. I can dig that. But what makes Hamburger Hill shine is the feeling of reality the movie depicts.
It's dirty, nasty, and viscious. Like life really.
