The 'Saving Private Ryan' of the Vietnam War of it's day in terms of the movie and it's angle, direction and execution. The same intensity and voracity of war, the same struggle and fight to survive, the same emotional fultilities of fighting a war that the characters struggle with regarding the securing of a strategic position during the Vietnam War.
