Review of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) by Mark W — 09 Jul 2009
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers was a decent horror movie but unfortunatly it wasn't good enough to pass. The reason this movie is a fail is because of the fact that the movie gives you some interesting ideas but its the fact that the screenwriter choose never to touch on them again throughout the entire movie.
The problem was the fact that most of the characters were uninteresting, and the gore in the movie was really nothing special. Though Paul Rudd does give a very unexpedted performance as Tommy Doyle. Though the movie does offer a very decent sript and a good director, it doesn't touch on any of the elements that are discussed throughout the whole movie and it turns out to be a big bore with no scares.
This movie did have a good plot but no screenplay to keep the movie interesting and or course it is givin as another bad movie that is unforgettable. Decent movie with good plot but no screenplay to hold it up.
