Review of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) by Robert L — 12 Nov 2010
While it was more of the same, I did like, however, that they tried to expand on the story some more without trying to make one of Michael's relatives the same thing he is. (Nudges Rob Zombie) Or make this a prequel.
(Nudges again) And I thought it had some really interesting parts. Like when the old lady is telling the kid about Samhain. And the Halloween party had some great visuals to it. I gotta say I liked this one.
And it's the last time we'll see Donald Pleasence the true driving force behind these movies. Malcom McDowell I believe could have done a great job, but Rob pretty much Rob'd em. Oh yeah, that's the new phrase for movies when they're remakes and they're nothing like the original, they've been Rob'd.
