Review of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) by Richard L — 25 Aug 2008
Everybody returns one last time for a final get-together (but Jamie isn't played by Danielle Harris anymore, unfortunately...). The acting and the storyline are really, really bad, the movie is not scary at all, and some killing scenes are both uninteresting and absurd.
There are also countless plotholes, most of them being in the first third of the movie. The 5th movie's ending left many questions unanswered while providing a well-thought setup for a sequel. The 6th movie doesn't live up to these expectations, however : it contains no decisive answer and takes one of the worst possible turns when what seems like a secret demonic cult comes up as an "explanation".
