Review of Halloween: Resurrection (2002) by Ethan C — 26 Oct 2018
Dumb and gimmicky is all I really have to say to describe Halloween Resurrection. The premise feels nothing like a Halloween movie and more like a Blair Witch Project sequel. The story is that basically, a group of online streamers explore the Myers house and Busta Rhymes does kung-fu.
Perhaps the worst part of the film is how it disrespects the amazing ending to H20 by revealing in the stupidest way possible that Michael isn't dead because he put a paramedic in the suit and escaped so, therefore, Laurie decapitated him instead.
Not to mention that *Spoiler Alert* they kill off Laurie Strode in the first 20 minutes of the film! I am enraged at the sloppiness of the film, it disrespects the intelligence of anyone watching it especially longtime fans of the franchise such as myself.
