Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Kyle L — 21 Jun 2012

Halloween III is seriously the best out of all the Halloween films and it is the third best Halloween film along with the second film. Halloween III Season Of The Witch is a great film and I like the idea that the film abandons the storyline of Michael Myers and focus on a new story that I consider to be darker and much more grimier than the first two Halloween films.

The plot of Halloween III Season Of The Witch is about a young doctor name Doctor Challis who finds some suspicious things happening on Halloween night when he works on another patient name Harry Grimbridge who is wounded by a group of assailants who later on dies by getting killed by his assailant and after his assailant committed suicide by blowing up a car Harry Grimbridge's daughter name Ellie also ask for Doctor Challis' help in investigating what really happened to Ellie's father and they enter another town where the Halloween masks is being made and sold and soon the two realized that the masks factory owner Conal Cochran is doing something for everyone on Halloween night not only killing kids but something much more deeper and the two must stop him before millions of kids die all over the world.

Like I said Halloween III is seriously the best in the series and it is also the best sequel out of all the Halloween sequels. To be honest I seriously like this film and it is a seriously Halloween film for the win because there are so many great things about this movie that makes me want to watch more of it.

What's great about Halloween III is that since the film doesn't focus as a continuation of the Michael Myers story and it focus on a new plot what I love about Halloween III is that this film has a lot of dark and gothic tones and the themes are seriously creepy and scary at the exact same time.

I was really fund of the tones and themes of Halloween III and everything that they did with this film is so unique and really good as well and I did like it a lot. What I also like about Halloween III is that this film has a lot of genuine spooks and scares and the thrills are really fitting for the film and I also like the idea that the movie is so tense and scary from the beginning until the end and it seriously feels like a really dark movie and I was fund of it so far.

What I also like about Halloween III is that the movie also has the atmosphere back again and it has the same atmosphere as the first movie and this movie is so atmospheric from the start until the end and I really enjoyed the idea so far.

Plus the other great things that amazed me with Halloween III is that the film has a lot of graphic violence but the gore isn't enough a lot and there is just one scene that uses gore the scene where a guy gets his head ripped off by pulling it but it's ok so far that there's just one scene that uses gore although I like the graphic violence of this film.

I did also enjoy the part when Harry Grimbridge gets his nose cracked by his assailant in the hospital that was a pretty graphic scene. I also like the part when Doctor Challis kills one android person by punching in the stomach and his blood is orange and the android people in this film seriously reminds me of Alien and Prometheus.

But the most impressive scene I enjoyed in this film is the part when a kid gets killed by watching the Silver Shamrock commercial and bugs started coming out of his mask even snakes is seriously one of the most disturbing parts of the movie so far.

I also like the Silver Shamrock song and I like that song a lot because it feels like Halloween a lot so far I enjoyed it. Now the acting is great all of the casts did a unique job with they're work in the film Tom Atkins does a good job even the actor who played Cochran in the film as well.

Director and Writer Tommy Lee Wallace did a really fancy and good job with his work in the film and I like how he worked in the Horror genre a lot and he was good as a writer and director for Halloween III since he does a good job as a production designer for the first Halloween he does a really good job as a writer and director for Halloween III and his other films so far.

Overall Halloween III gets a 10/10 because this film has all the goodies that seriously beats the later on lousy sequels(except Halloween H20)so far and this is an entertaining sequel as well.
