Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Stein-Erik R — 02 Mar 2010

I already knew Michael Myers wasn't going to be in this so I knew to expect something different, but I was not prepared for what I got. To use a tired phrase, I expected something in the same neighborhood as Halloween, but this wasn't even in the same fucking country.

The change from slasher horror to sci-fi thriller was baffling. It was however not all that bad, the beginning was pretty good, up until after that guy lit himself on fire, and the ending was pretty haunting.

It was rather stupid at times and very different from the previous, but not an awful movie by any means.
