Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Rosy V — 06 Oct 2012
Actually this movie isn't half bad, Just because it is not part of the "Michael Myers" franchise, it is considered odd and a bad movie, which it isn't.
I first watched this movie when I was a preteen and I hated it because to me it scared the living day light out of me as my dad was a keen horror fan but now watching it as an adult it has changed my view of the movie, as a whole.
Tom Atkins really makes the film worth it's while and the soundtrack which is created by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth, is at it's eeriest.
If the movie had been just called "Season of the Witch", it could have been successful, on it's own as the masks are pinnacle of this great Tommy Lee Wallace, John Carpenter and Debra Hill classic. Not as classic as Halloween but still a classic 80's horror.
