Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Ben E — 01 Nov 2012

Hated. Shunned. Black Sheep.

Many people believe Halloween III to be the worst of the series. I seriously disagree. Although maybe it would have been better received had it been called Season of The Witch or better yet...Sam Hain. I do believe the concept that Tommy Lee Wallace was coming up with to do a yearly film with the name of Halloween that surrounded a story involving Halloween was a great idea. Unfortunately people want their Michael Myers, so the film bombed and flew under the radar for years. I love Tom Atkins, he is great in this and so are many of the other actors. It's a fun film. It has great nasty scares and a classic ending. Definitely recommended for hardcore fans of horror.
