Review of Halloween II (2009) by Jesse S — 24 Oct 2009
Why is it that Horror sequels always seem to never match the original. The problem with Halloween II is that it tries to hard to be like the original that it doesn't feel like a sequel, but more a rip-off.
Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis are still the characters you loved in the first film, but everything else is lame. While the original avoided the typical horror clichés and stood out as a masterpiece of the genre, Halloween II does the opposite and has pointless nudity and not a sense of fear.
It may not be the worst film ever made, but it's not one I think is worth a watch.
