Review of Halloween II (2009) by Austin C — 31 Oct 2011
I laugh at how bad this movie was! It was just so boring and dreary and filled with no excitement except little blood and another bloodthirsty killer who is trying to kill his sister, for SOME reason! You don't need to watch Halloween 1. Unless you want to see a GOOD Halloween movie. This is just another wasted horror movie of a freak in a mask killing young good looking or not, people. Halloween 2 picks up right after the events of Halloween 1. (Spoilers ahead). Although you don't need to see Halloween 1, it might be a good idea before watching the sequel. Anyways, Curtis's character Laurie is sent to the hospital after being attacked by the merciless killer Micheal Myers. Micheal heads to the hospital to find and kill Laurie, killing many of the hospital workers taking care of Laurie, along the way. Meanwhile, Dr. Loomis (I think), who is played by Donald Pleasence, tries to track down Micheal and stop him. The premise acts as a great sequel actually. The only problem is that it is not scary. Simply put.
Grade: D.
