Review of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) by Ivan D — 12 May 2010
After the disappointing "Curse of Michael Myers", the seemingly tired franchise was back into top form here in "Halloween H20". The return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode was one of the main points of the film's success as a sequel, with her sibling rivalry to the death with Michael Myers renewed.
Donald Pleasence has not saved the sixth installment, but gladly, Jamie Lee reinvigorated the franchise with this seventh film. And Janet Leigh's line about fixing the shower was a great ode to Hitchcock's "Psycho".
