Review of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) by Cancelled U — 29 May 2010
So, I was pretty upset with the story line, characters, basically everything in this movie was wrong if you compare it to the original version (1&2), but the last 20 minutes of the movie + the finale was pretty good, that I ended up forgiving it.
Jamie Lee did awesome actually here, she was pretty kick-ass. but other than that the other character was pretty empty, like Josh Hartnett who stars as her son, or the cutie pie Michelle Williams as his girl friend. Michael Mayers wasn't as scary as before, but there were some pretty good 'chase' scenes included, and the beginning of the film was handled very well.
I know that those morons producers made another sequel after this, which is sad; because I think this movie shape up pretty good to be the end of Halloween's finale.
6/10.
