Review of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) by Ben R — 27 Oct 2008
A definite improvement over the previous entry in the series. The young heroine shows marked improvement in her acting skills, as well. Donald Pleasance still overacts with tremendous gusto, but you can't help liking the old guy.
This entry's only real flaw is that it sets up a suspenseful cliffhanger that part 6 doesn't really deliver on. And that's unfortunate because this entry is pretty strong comparatively.
