Review of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) by Muffin M — 18 Oct 2013
Taking place a decade after the original Halloween massacre in Haddonfield, demented killer Michael Myers rests in a comatose state, residing in a maximum security prison hospital, well out of harm's way.
Biding his time and brooding for blood, he learns of the existence of his young niece Jamie (Danielle Harris, Stake Land) and escapes his confines to return home and carry on his cold-hearted killing spree.
The only person who understands Myers' dark past is Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence). A force of conviction against a towering monster on a murderous mission, Loomis is the unlikely key to Haddonfield's safety. But nothing will fully prepare the citizens of Haddonfield for the wrathful return of one of the most notorious killers in history.
Also stars Danielle Harris, Ellie Cornell, George P. Wilbur, Michael Pataki, Beau Starr, Sasha Jenson, Gene Ross, Kathleen Kinmont and Carmen Filpi.
Directed by Dwight H. Little.
