Who didn't stick around to see him die?

Ok, so I get the whole theme of horrors as in: if you don't go in that room you won't get killed, don't run off into the bushes & you won't get killed, if a car is coming straight at you don't keep running down the same road in a straight line & you won't get killed, if you hear a noise in the attic don't go up there & call out, "Is there someone there?", & you won't get killed, etc., but there were so many of these bits in the film, it drove me nuts.

I think it's time to call it quits and say enough is enough.
