Review of Halloween (2018) by Tibzoid — 27 Oct 2018
Unsophisticated and totally absurd. I adore Jamie Lee Curtis but the movie's premise is just silly and some of the twists are so outlandish I burst out laughing. This film is a naked money-making device, nothing more.
I'm happy to line Curtis's pockets because she is a good thing in this nasty world, but I can't recommend this dreadful farce. Watch Halloween II instead -- at least it had some of the original's energy.
