Definitive proof that you don't need massive amounts of gore and cursing to make a thrillingly terrifying horror movie. Halloween constantly pays homage to its prequel in all the right ways. The tone, cast, and back drop of a moderately unchanged Haddon Field make this movie a must see for any fans of the original; or fans of the horror genre in general.
