John Carpenter created a movie whose legacy will live on forever. Rob Zombie created a remake that fits in with modern day horror films while recreating most of of the original, some scenes are almost identical.
This is no classic horror film nor will it be remembered like the original but in a world full of awful remakes Zombie did a good job at not ruining an original.
