Review of Halloween (2007) by Gabe G — 17 Aug 2015
I gotta say this disappointed me, after seeing the trailer I thought "oh my god Rob Zombie is totally gonna bring back my favorite killer!" Then I realized, Rob zombie has to many cliches. All the blood and gore kinda "killed me" (if you'll excuse the pun) also it's just not as terrifying as the John Carpenter original.
Mainly because Michael grew up in an abusive redneck house so he became a psychopath. In the original he was raised in a normal loving home, so he wasn't a psycho he was simply born evil! Now that's scary.
Plus that ending just kinda pissed us all off you can say all the good things you love about this movie but that ending is not one of them. in my opinion, Rob should probably stick to HIS originals just to keep his career safe.
