Review of Halloween (1978) by Ineedausernamen — 05 Jul 2017
Halloween is a genuine masterpiece in the art of filmmaking. Don't be fooled by its lack of bloody, disgusting deaths. It relies on the real good stuff- building tension and an uneasy atmosphere to really scare you.
It is arguably the best horror film ever made, and arguably John Carpenter's best work, setting the standard for the horror films of the 80s and 90s, and remaining influential and a classic to this day.
Halloween is great, and there are few horror films comparable.
