Review of Hall Pass (2011) by Matthew H — 03 Oct 2011
The movie was just, sad. It was just a sad statement about human relationships and the lack of connection beyond a sexual relationship. There were a few good laughs but for the most part, it was kind of a downer.
Usually, the Farrelly Brothers are good about finding an emotional core while still be successful with crude humor (case in point, "Kingpin," still my favorite Farrelly Brother's movie), but this one I'm going to chalk up as a failure.
