Review of Hall Pass (2011) by Mesh B — 11 Dec 2011
I confess. I do get entertain by watching this type of movie; the brainless, crude and fun movies. But Hall Pass is actually heartfelt, warm and sweet (yea sweet, sue me!). Telling the story of two couples who hit the rough ride in their marriage and grant hall pass to their husband for a week, the husbands can do anything they want (bang anyone) while their wives will be away. I predicted it to be raunchy, you know like American Pie with older man in it.. but that's where I was wrong. The movie gives a gentle touch on the subject and ending it with sentiment. Wilson and Sudekis did good, I think Jason Sudekis is much better comedy actor than many crap comedy actors out there (Vince Vaughn, Sascha Baron, etc). I do like Applegate and Fischer, but Nicky Whelan steal the spot for me (watch and you will know why, tee hee!).
8/10.
