Review of Half Nelson (2006) by David C — 13 Aug 2012

Another excellent performance from Ryan Gosling who really is one of the most solid actors working at the moment in my book. His presence in a film certainly gets my interest, which was certainly the case here.

I'm not sure how I felt about the story as such, but the feel and mood of this film are wonderful. The unlikely relationship between teacher and student is played out in a really interesting way, and in fact all of the relationships Daniel Dunn has with people in this are interesting in their own way. Definitely an enjoyable film.
