Excellent. Guess the naysayers needed a few car chases or something to explode. Turns the teacher pic on its ear with intelligence and subtlety. They key to the film is the relationship between Gosling and Epps.
Gosling continues to establish himself as an heir to Brando, De Niro, Pacio, and Penn. A near perfect film whose regulation will only grow with time.
