Most of us were already aware of Ryan Gosling's impressive acting skills, so this isn't exactly shocking. While the acting from both leads was nothing short of superb, my attention span is nothing short of short and the "story" mostly just bored me.
It's one of those subtle drama things where not all that much really happens, but you feel like you can't say you didn't like it because the acting is great and the topic is serious. Also, the wiggly cam annoyed the crap out of me, mostly because I didn't see the point of it.
