Mr. Gosling, you sincerely know how to act. "Half Nelson" is the strange and bizarre story of an inner city junior high teacher with a terrible secret: he's addicted to crack. He forms the most unlikely of friendships with one of his students after she catches him in the locker room of the junior high getting high.
It is a powerful look at the effect of drug use in one of the most random settings ever. One of the best films of 2006, and definitely worth your time.
