Review of Half Nelson (1985) by Luke K — 02 Apr 2010
It lacked any real plot but that is not a bad thing when you are instead given a realistic and indepth look into the lives of the main characters. The whole time I was waiting for the film to lose its way and become just another cliched feel good hollywood story, but surprisingly the film never lost its way.
Gosling once again proved he is a legend in the making and Epps' performance was one of the best of any child I have seen.
