Review of Half Baked (1998) by Matthew C — 16 Jul 2010
Hardly amazing, but pretty funny at times, this movie does manage to reach beyond its stoner comedy base line to levels of genuine humor. Plenty of funny cameos and a strong lead performance from Dave Chappelle, as well as the extremely cute Rachel True help a lot.
Some gags fall a bit flat, while others are fitfully funny. Certainly worth checking out for some laughs.
