Review of Hairspray (2007) by Greg B — 14 Feb 2012
I was pleasantly surprised, I was not expecting much out of this movie to be honest. Once the initial surprise of seeing John Travolta in drag passes, he actually gives Edna quite a bit of soul. But this movie is all about the kids.
If they ever make a biopic of Sammy Davis, Jr., Elijah Kelley is pretty much the best candidate for the job.
