Who would ever believe that a movie starring Ricki Lake would make be a long standing cult classic.? Among John Waters's films, "Hairspray" was perhaps most memorable. Aside from tackling the absurdity of racism in the early 1960s, the comedy was also the last Waters film to star cross-dressing pop culture icon Divine.
