Review of Hair (2012) by Tommaso D — 31 Jan 2008
Pretty ridiculous and pretty great at the same time. I was surprised by this musical movie and swept up in it to the point that the ending caught me completely offguard and shook me up a little. The opening scene between father and son about to head out to basic training is one of the strongest performed scenes I've ever seen-just simple and awkward and sad and proud all wrapped in one very real moment.
