Review of Hail, Caesar! (2016) by Fernando A — 07 Mar 2016
After the shite that was 'inside Llewyn Davis', the Coen brothers are back and on comedy form with this look at 50s Hollywood. This is the story of Eddie Mannix (Brolin) as the noir voice over intones.
His character a fixer for a movie studio, in charge of keeping any smut and controversy away from the stars he watches over. Poking fun at the studios of yesteryear and it's stars. Channing Tatum dance routine is great fun and also the sequence with Ralph Fiennes had the audience laughing out loud.
So if you fancy a case of Hollywood nostalgia with some mirth then 'Hail, Caesar!' is worth you time.
