Fictional films centered around Hollywood always have a feel of an in joke, a fair bit of substance is required to make up for this. The latest Coen Brothers picture is severely lacking in purpose. There are sequences which are entertaining but it's hard to get past the conclusion that this is enormous waste of talent.
