Hollywood in the 1950s is amusingly shown here, with colourful characters all around (including a hilarious encounter on set between Ralph Fiennes' director Laurence Laurentz and Alden Ehrenreich's Hobie Doyle). Like many of its stars' appearances, though, the film as a whole feels brief and trivial. Favourite performance: Alden Ehrenreich as Hobie Doyle.
