Review of Hail, Caesar! (2016) by Pete T — 29 Dec 2016
A great homage to old Hollywood and the rise of Commie paranoia. The Coens have perfected humorous odd pacing and comedic beats. Just the right amount quirk to turn those who did not know what they walked into off (good riddance) and those that love the Coens right into their happy place.
The films within the film are wonderful. I give it an extra half star because of all the movie goers that didn't get it.
