An arthouse movie by Joel and Ethan Coen, set in 1950s Hollywood, starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes and the list goes on. This might divide people significantly but if you want to see a throwback to the Golden Age of cinema, fantastic acting, beautiful shots and set pieces, and Channing-Potato-Face-Tatum singing and dancing in a sailor suit (I could have happily lived the rest of my life without that last one but it's too late now).

I personally enjoyed this, but it's no Fargo. Let me put it this way, if you're the type of person who hasn't heard of the Coen Brothers then you might want to give this a miss, but for everyone else it’s a definite recommendation.
