Hail, Caesar is a time capsule of classic Hollywood movie production, an era which was unique and interesting to witness. This movie was entertaining but the overall plot was not up to par with other Cohen brother films.
The plot wasn't very satisfying but this was made up for with the great set pieces and performances by the cast of characters. The satirical nature of the plot was amusing but there were scenes that did suffer from weak dialogue.
It isn't a must-see but is worth watching for the uniquely entertaining format used to present an era of classic Hollywood that is supported by a great cast and characters.
