Review of Hail, Caesar! (2016) by Mattyice — 06 Feb 2016

Hail Caesar is not only a solid film with great themes and acting, but a solid tribute to film as well. Brolin and Clooney, in particular, put on solid performances and the Coen Bros have written the film well.

However, some of the actors/actresses are underutilized (specifically Ralph Fiennes and Scarlett Johansson) and a lot of the scenes in the film (mainly the ones on the film sets) seem like filler rather than important to the plot.

However, it still is a good entertaining movie that I'd recommend.
