Review of Hail, Caesar! (2016) by Steve S — 07 Jun 2016

I am always interested in seeing a Coen Brothers film. "Hail, Caesar" is one I had a little less anticipation for. I was pleasantly suprised. It was one of the most enjoyable tims I've had at the films this year.

The cast all seem to be having a blast and it shows in their performances. The film may not strive to reach the cinematic prestige of "Fargo" or "No Country for Old Men", but it does manage to triumph on its own less ambitious goals.

Young Alden Ehrenreich steals the show with his cowboy star trying to make it in a period piece.
