I was so excited to see Hail, Caesar! because I love the Coen brothers. Hail, Caesar! looked like it was going to be an epic 1950s crime-comedy, in which a fellow movie stars band together to find a missing washed up movie star (George Clooney).
That's what I thought was going to happen.... what did happen was TERRIBLE. Hail, Caesar! made absolutely no sense. Terrible lack of character development, a confusing story line, no direction, NOTHING.
This film literally offered nothing, so I am confused as to why critics are praising this. This might be the WORST movie I have ever seen. I literally don't know what the point of this movie was, because nothing blended together.
You could feel the confusion of the audience after this train wreck of a film was over. This was the first time I almost walked out of a movie. In short, what the eff Coen brothers? We should all just stab Caesar.
